About the Lessons

I began teaching piano as a music student in the mid-nineties. I have since gained advanced qualifications in Instrumental Tuition, Instrumental Performance, Jazz, Popular & Commercial Music and Music Theory. 

 

My pupils have a 100% pass rate in their piano exams. I teach GCSE & A-level pupils, competition winners and music degree students. 

 

Having gained experience working for the Northumberland County Music Service from 2004-2011 I now teach at Gosforth Academy and Gosforth East Middle School.

 

Lessons are conducted on a Kawai grand piano in my music lounge at home in Morpeth. Pupils range from the age of four to the age of seventy, from absolute beginners to experienced musicians tackling their diplomas.
